I'm recycling a comment I made two weeks ago because it's relevant here, and it saves me the typing and thought-bandwidth of retyping the exact same thing in a slightly different way. The absolute worst thing I've ever done for myself was t

The absolute worst thing I've ever done for myself was to go to college. I had a 50% scholarship towards one of THE top electrical engineering schools in the country (not MIT, but you'd be in the right state if you were guessing), and I to

Yes, this. A thousand times, this. Personal case in point - earbits.com. Freaking LOVE their service. I used to use their 'don't need an account' option almost daily to stream awesome new music, and I would've LOVED to create an account

I studied electrical engineering at WPI for 4 years. They were going to push me into a 5th to complete the degree, so I said "heck with this" and dropped out. It was the best decision of my life, and after having paid down $60k of my over

The only winning move, is not to play. Facebook-free even in 2011, and I still have friends, a social life, and all the perks of 'being human', with none of the Facebook privacy problems. :-)
