That is good to know, thank you, but why must I use _an entirely different browser_ for this? (Rhetorical question, I know - 'because it's Apple and they hate anything not of their beautiful walled garden')

Still can't install uBlock Origin or any other firefox add-on? Deal-breaker. Sorry Apple, that's one more $1200 phone you're not selling me.

Thanks for this. I had no idea! I definitely did not have any suicidal thoughts while on it, but it sounds like I was a lucky one.

I actually just stopped my daily montelukast pill a few months ago. No side effects, I just hated having to take a daily. I was told - years ago - that it was practically benign. What am I missing?

I have a very strong aversion to being put in any kind of sales system. Do you have anything public you can share at this time, or is it all "contact sales for pricing"-level stuff?

by lwhalen 3y ago
Is there a public price list anywhere?

ssshhhhh, it's not irrational superstition if it's been practiced for > 200 years. At that point it becomes quaint tradition. After 500 years, it's 'cultural practice'. Beyond that, unquestionable dogma. Manki

Highly context-dependant. You don't see too many dwarf NBA stars, for example. "The fight does not always go to the strong, nor the race to the swift. But that is the way to bet."

Same here, I have spent an INORDINATE amount of hours trying to fix this exact same trackpad issue on two generations of Thinkpad X-series, and it just. doesn't. work. My next linux laptop will be a Framework.

What is up with the gigantic notch? Deal-killer for me, personally. My Intel MBP works just fine so long as I disable Intel TurboBoost.

Employers (mostly in Blue strongholds) were EXTREMELY EAGER to fire people - even remote employees - who did not want to submit paperwork showing they took the vaccine. If you refused, they marked you 'refusenik' and you were let

...prepare yourself for massive downvotes. I'm in the same boat - how can I possibly be 'anti vax' if I've gotten pretty much all the PREVIOUS ones (based on the older tech), and I'm just skeptical of the utility&#

Yup, OpenBSD + OpenSMTPD off a wholesaleinternet dedicated box, for roughly a dozen domains. Previously, Postfix and/or qmail. If anyone's got any tips or contacts for getting off of Microsoft's (live.com, outlook.com, hotma

Netflix also refuses to accept HE IPv6 traffic. This was 'fun' to find out when deploying IPv6 on my home network, and my TV could no longer stream from them.

I just wish they supported IPv6.

All of my agreements. The Devops Engineers slack (devopsengineers.com) has been enforcing this recently, and we've had a notable uptick in the quality of job postings.

There are limits, according to the article. 18 months. The judge is choosing to ignore the statute because, well, he is allowed to. The nitpicking over the minutiae is pretty much why we have a legal system.
