It not being the latest version if React is hardly a major issue. You miss out on some of the latest optimizations, but the API hasn't changed.

Spotify's shuffling is most certainly not random. Every once in a while I get a bug where it simply shuffles through various songs from 4-5 albums and will never pick songs outside that set. Restarting the app corrects the behaviour.

This is hard, but perhaps even harder than you might think. I read an extremely long exploration of this concept a couple weeks ago. It's a layman explanation but it really does a great job of outlining the real complications of such a

I'm not an expert with either system, but I think the answer is pretty clear: that's not at all an efficient solution. Spark's approach is: do the data however you want, then use a ridiculous amount of resources getting that

It's one shard per node though, right? So you're talking about SERIOUS cost when you want to store _actual_ big data.

We store 100-1000 GB of data in each wide table on our untrendy on-prem SQL server boxes. 10GB is peanuts. In fact, I propose (given the limitations suggested by the author) that DynamoDB may have NO practical uses worth exploring. If NoSQL

Machine learning is incredibly bad at this kind of stuff. There are far too many false positives and special cases to leave to ML. And the stakes are fairly high for Facebook: if they block content that shouldn't be blocked, it's
