Since I'm using Hetzner Cloud for my hobby cluster, this is as good a kick as any to start moving that stuff to ipv6. (Although there's no mention whether HCloud ipv4 pricing is actually affected by those changes)

Last I've heard, the nix experience for python was kind of lacking, sadly - but I don't have any first-hand experience to go with that statement.

Yes absolutely, it feels like the brain is in problem-solving mode without a concrete problem to solve. It's maddening. I often experience those "dreams" when under stress.

That's true, and something that often gets lost in the acceleration of "devops culture". But, in my opinion, the consequence then should be to try to not use Docker at all, and look for alternatives (like Podman) instead of j

Doesn't that run counter to what devops actually should be? I know that in practice, this split is what happens at companies, but we should work to close that rift, not widen it.
