I would assume Unity has something in the works internally, but it looks like someone is creating a Nanite/Lumen equivalent for Unity here: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-unity-improver-nano-t... As for Me

Dividing the people matches the Machiavellian goal of the government to preserve itself as the source of power, so you don't want a populace that could coalesce to overthrow you. Of course, that doesn't help the populace when said

Thanks! This set will be for users to stream their own shows, although we did pitch a full VR game show a few years back but didn't get the green light on it from the IP holders at the time. The VR market size may be reaching that poin

My thoughts exactly! My company is working on a game show set for VR right now, but it's a more modern take on the "game show" theme. I would LOVE to hop on some of these instead!

Very cool! I'd love to see game engine support added (mainly Unity & Unreal).

You're totally right and of course we help away. Reducing the steps to be able to ask a question is also a better user experience, hence ditching the forum. Give users what they want, including timely responses. But the question still

We tried introducing a forum to our users in the hope of moving away from Discord for all the same reasons and ended up finally shutting the forum down to preserve the unity of having a community all in one place. Reason being, users don&#x

I appreciate the EFF injecting their take on this case. I'm not an app store developer at the moment so I have no skin in the game re Epic vs Apple, but I do feel developers shouldn't have to pay almost 1/3 of their gross rev

Fun experiment! Would be cool if you could select a specific sample from each region, which would increase the variety it would produce, and if you could share sequences with a link.

This feels like a good description of narcissistic behaviour, at least from my personal experience. Not sure if there's an existing term in psychology for it since it's not quite gaslighting, but I do like frame control as a term.

I wonder if this is also part of the preference for Discord, but all of our most active/longtime users tend to prefer DMing us over posting publicly. We should probably discourage that so the community seems more active, but it probabl

I loathe Discord for (non-dev but still software-related) community management but we tried launching a forum and realized users don't care and just want Discord or Slack. It's now in the "familiar" zone and registering

It feels like there’s some interplay between instinct/emotion and intelligence/decision-making in the behaviours we’re describing, which I felt was a sign of awareness or consciousness. I wouldn’t say what I experienced was much m

I had a similar experience with a spider who had made an egg sack in a precarious spot along our back door that was definitely in hazard's way. I got a stick and a leaf and tried to detach and move her setup to a nearby spot that would

Follow up assessment of Soundtrap Capture (and Soundtrap Studio): - Capture: Import was super easy but I see no way to loop, so that's out. - Studio: Full-blown collaborative DAW (overkill) but importing your own loops is gone (wtf?!).

I often interpret that pattern as a reference to the lyric "love is all you need" by the Beatles (e.g., an attempt at being playful and relatable), but that may be my musical bias. Either way, totally agree. Overused, almost alway
