Agreed, it's all digital assets i.e. songs, movies, tv shows, books, etc. You can still sell physical assets e.g. vinyl, blu-rays, tickets to shows, hardbacks, etc. like people did prior to the internet, but the driving motivation of m

Yeah, but I'd argue its larger than YouTube. I think copyright (for digital assets) is near impossible to enforce on the internet - it's akin to the war on drugs. And I don't think we should unbuild the internet. The new mode

A "driver's license for the web" is an interesting thought, but I certainly wouldn't model it off of our actual driver's licenses; as they appear to me to be more a form of identification than licensure in that pret

Sounds and looks amazing a first glance, but the issue for me is simply that more virtual monitors does not translate into more physical resolution. Currently the resolution of VR headsets is too low to make this into the "infinite mon

Glad to help. I looked at the repo again in more detail; and I must admit that I got distracted by the comments and missed out on the intent behind your demo. While I am not a fan of the interactive demo before you can start using an app, I

Intuitively to me (I'm a layman as well) it seems that this male variability stems from increased competition amongst males. Historically, but certainly not necessarily, men have played the active role in society while women have been

The reason that I hate the guided tour is that it's restrictive. It's not at my pace and it gives me the feeling of being obstructed in my goal of learning the software; which is actually my secondary goal. My first goal is using

I agree. I hate these walk-throughs. I always skip them because they tend to be exceedingly basic and frustratingly slow. E.g. "Click on your avatar to view your personal profile". Like every other site on the internet? Thanks for

Computers of the past were undoubtably slower on average; both in terms of physical performance as well as their UX. The software of now, when compared to the software of then, is slow relative to the hardware that it runs on. Before we use

Software architecture has changed a lot with the advent of "the cloud" - which IMO, is just a marketing term for the hybrid of the pre-existing internet and distributed computing. This sort of highly distributed and complex archit

Agreed. I don't think many kids could make it through 2 episodes of Mr. Rogers w/o wanting to do something else. I remember being really bored with my choices of shows / movies growing up. If I was a kid today, I think I&#x27

IMO vehicles of a certain size should have to follow specific rules (in densely populated areas). I live where is snows; and when it does, there are lots of 2-way streets that are large enough for 2 reasonably sized vehicles, but not if one
