I appreciate the purpose of the site is to demonstrate technical skills, and in this respect it clearly demonstrates a grasp of the underlying technologies. However, any suggestion or implication that this represents good UI reflects poorly

I'm totally with you on this - I hate seeing column/row references etc in CSS identifiers. With the ease of use of Less/SASS etc, there's no reason not to have the grid rules in a mixin and reference those from semantic

Yep, my thoughts exactly. Doing something like this would be about more than just receipts as well - it would be a step towards taking ownership of your transaction data so rather than it being owned by a variety of banks, it's all cen

I can't say for sure unfortunately as my only previous experience of Ubuntu on a Chromebook was via Crouton on a Samsung which, being ARM, was somewhat limited in what you could do with it. Elementary on the other hand I run natively v

I have an Acer C720 myself but put ElementaryOS on instead of Ubuntu - runs like a dream and looks great to boot. A good thing about the C720 is that the SSD is upgradeable fairly simply[0], though it's easy enough to stick an SD card

Not seen that before, looks useful, thanks for the heads up - however, no info on pricing anywhere so not something I'd consider using myself as things stand. Who signs up to services without knowing in advance what commitment is going
