Great! Would I be able to provide customers any guarantees about the privacy of their data? Could you create embeddings based on data encrypted homomorphically?

What if I'm building a service that leverages LLMs for my customers? Would I be able to use an API to upload my customers' data and have embeddings created for that? Or is this not a use case you're building for?

Talked to a lawyer yesterday who works in an area where the key laws haven't changed in 90 years. He's built an excellent career based on deep knowledge of those laws.

I admit, I was skeptical when I started reading your comment, by the end I was thoroughly convinced. Even with good hotkeys for tiling window management and switching, there's still a lot of friction in my setup. Envious since I probab

I think the difference between humans and special-purpose ML models here is that humans can generalize from examples in different domains. (There are ML models that also try to do this - train across domains to be more robust against out-of

If a human artist sold work created by copying her style, they would definitely get called out by other artists.

The thing html missed out on (which was part of the original vision, to be fair) was using the same program for editing and viewing.

What size iPad do you have? Thinking about getting the pen but I have the smaller Pro, not sure how good an experience it will be.

This would be solved if Continuity Camera let your iPad use your iPhone camera. Doesn't seem like it does, though.

Great article. Was reading through thinking "okay so why aren't super apps popular in the west?" and lo and behold, they tackle that question brilliantly.

I don't have a problem with that. I have a problem with yelling at people as your primary method of motivating them. Which, according to Joel's story, was Bill's default method in every review.

I'm surprised at the pushback against ClawsOnPaws here. Why would you not want to make your apps usable by as many people as possible?

Well-built apartments with good light, soundproofing etc are great, and you can get amenities in the building that would be cost-prohibitive for a single-family home.

Have you ever been inside a Wright building? They just feel fantastic to be in. The way a cathedral interior creates this powerful sense of space? Wright could do that with a living room.

HTG: What did you do “right” in the early years of Atari that people could learn from today? Bushnell: We did really good branding. Yep, they were great at this, and that’s why Atari is still famous, rather than just the individual games.
