This must be the quintessential example of a Turing tarpit. In TypeScript types, everything is possible, but nothing of interest is easy.

From my experience operating it I reckon it does the following: after you fill it and start, it starts heating and measures the time it takes to reach 100°C. This allows it (in the rice program) to figure out the amount of mass present and

I've been to Café Central. There was a waiter standing outside telling you only to come in whenever a seat has been vacated. Once in it didn't feel crammed, and it was quite the sight. Don't eat "Sacher Torte", it&#

ECC RAM would have probably helped, but that got axed in consumer CPUs probably due to financial optimizations. They wanted to have ECC as an upsell feature for 'server grade' products. That was pretty short sighted.

Nature will die with 100% certainty. That is a verified fact due to the coming life-cycle changes of our sun. Nothing will survive that. Only humans have a chance to save "nature" by bringing life along to the stars. Not sure if w

This technology is useful for small production volumues only though. It's too slow to produce chips at 5nm at high volumes. If it's also that much cheaper such that you can just throw money at it to produce in parallel, then it ma

Regarding gasoline: the question is how much of that energy is actually converted into motion instead of heat. With electric mirrors it's more than 90%, with gasoline it's more like 30-40%.
