you do not. Just build the right tools as you go. A small example of one of the pieces of my toolchain: https://github.com/CaliLuke/lagotto

it's not a solved problem but it's not impossible to keep it at bay either. I created this tool for my own project and it does a pretty darn good job at keeping the AI accountable, I have a harness that runs this in a loop and hel

this review was essentially pointless, they reviewed the card for a ton of workloads nobody in their right mind would pick it for, and left out the only use case where it makes sense. great job?

Jensen hallucinates more than any llm, he just speaks without thinking all that much about what he says and he generalizes a lot. Trying to hold him accountable to imprecisions and gross simplifications is just going to frustrate whoever tr

Who gives a shit. Cal.com is written by hand and the code is absolute garbage. Of all people that should be luddites I never imagined software engineers would be the most pointlessly staunch advocates of that philosophy.

If America is at near full employment why don't I have a job after looking for 6 months. This is a load of nonsense.

I will say it bluntly because it needs to be said: that website is not enough for anyone to be interested in the library.

Not a single example of an actual application is not a good look for a web ui library

then you should be delighted we have LLMs one of the use cases they are best suited to is writing documentation, much better than humans can.

finally! I'm building an app that's essentially a "sidecar" to an llm subscription and works via mcp and has a web ui to make reviewing deliverables easier, uses the user's subscription for intelligence instead of r

it's gambling until you learn how to set up proper harnesses then it just becomes normal administration. It's no different than running a team, humans make mistakes too, that's why we have CI pipelines, automated testing etc.

Was the product. It's fundamentally unsound, but beyond that, why would you be in that thing? The Metaverse had barely any content worth using, there was no reason to buy it beyond disposable income and novelty.

I think it was totally predictable, I was telling my colleagues at Meta back then the Metaverse was completely toast in 2020 for a variety of reasons that only Mark Zuckerberg in his infinite wisdom couldn't see clear as day. The Metav

it's not the CLI, it's the model. The model wasn't trained to do that kind of work, was trained to do one shot coding, not sustained back and forth until it gets it right like Claude and ChatGPT.

so now you have almost all the parts of an mcp: 1. the tools 2. the instructions just add an auth mechanism to it and you get mcp OR use mcp because it's a nice self contained package that contains all of it.

It will be like that at some point soon, just not now. Are you trying to make the point that because this technology is not yet perfect the fact that it can already do so much is unimpressive?

It doesn't have be to true for all models to be useful. Thinking about small models running on phones or edge devices deployed in the field that would be a perfect use case for a "printed model".

honestly this blog post was pretty off base. Current AIs have a limited ability to keep up with complexity and using known frameworks helps with managing that complexity. If you need to write everything from scratch every time you have to g
