They're already limiting it to one country at first. If they want a slower ramp-up, they can show it to more and more users rather than working weekends. Not to rule it out but this would strike me as a strange reason

It's the same size as HN: 12px. HN looks larger to me for some reason, but I can't figure out why: when I overlay a quote someone posted here over the website with half transparency in GIMP, the text is clearly the same height. So

Huh? Maybe I'm completely misreading the question, but when they say fiber-optic cable, they do mean optic. It's not an "electrical cable"; there is no metal needed in optic communication cables (perhaps for stiffness or

There's some irony in having to click past a Google tracking wall to see the graphic you shared in this thread, especially when that graphic isn't actually Google's. It's from Gizmodo: https://gizmodo.com/

Wait, we're talking about buying domain names right? Not about buying countries in order to own a ccTLD rather than a 'regular' TLD So then you don't have to produce an offence that takes the TLD down (whichever kind) bu

What TLD is not subject to a country's laws? .aq? .su? Edit: .eu might be an even better candidate for this requirement, but you can ask British former domain owners how that worked out gTLDs just subject you to an additional layer o
