Many EU countries have bought US fighter jets (Denmark for instance). Many EU countries still make it clear that they want US technology (Poland for instance). Germany is sending extremely mixed signals. So, when it's "EU sovereig

They are not European. They are French, or Swiss, or Scandinavian, each of those countries who may sooner or later not align anymore with your strategic interests. Countries should only trust themselves for sensitive stuff.

Why EU-native rather than nation-native ? If you are French, your sensitive stuff must be French-native, just like Switzerland does, not "EU-native whatever that means". There is no EU, each country has very strong different inter

What I understand is that the Mollahs are hated by most Iranians, and that they have even managed to make the Persian population actually hate islam. Well done, bassij !

Europe has roughly divided by 5 its imports of Russian gas. As to the Nord Stream, German prosecution services have arrested a Ukrainian national, Serhii Kuznetsov, in their ongoing investigations. The NY Times, the Spiegel, and Washington

So to summarize, they were wrong to move away from nuclear. They were wrong to ban fuel vehicle at the EU scale. They were wrong to welcome 1 million Syrian refugees. They were wrong to cut off gaz from Russia. At what point does that polit

Coverage is not the mere existence of an article. Coverage is what's visible. Anyone concerned about Iran was clearly seeing for the whole first week of Jan that there were 0 visible article on the BBC and a few others, this has been t

"We" ? The 100 million active users in Europe, making X one of the most downloaded app on the continent, probably beg to differ. Again, typical socialism reflexes: you dont like X, so instead f just not using it, you feel like you

The first pieces of coverage from the BBC were on day >10, after internet blackout and hundreds of deaths, and to copy-paste a statement from Khamenei. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/ashamed-john-cle

Starmer, T.Breton (former EU commissioner, the one who got denied VISA to the US going forward), google them with "X ban" and you'll have all the results you want. Similar with many other EU political figures.

You misunderstood my message. I am genuinely thanking Elon, because without X and now Starlink, we indeed would have 0 knowledge of what's going no. At best, we would have the BBC and Skynews echoing Khamenei's statements.

What's chilling is realizing how little the coverage of those riots is in the West. At best, the BBC is copy-pasting the statements from Khamenei. Thanks Elon.

I know you hate it, but X and Starlink are the only channels giving us information on Iran right now. If X was censored (like many leftists are advocating), we wouldn't know anything about those riots.

I guarantee you that the vast majority of people talk about "pregnant women", not "pregnant people" like the BBC. I could quote many other small indicators like that which demonstrate that the BBC is NOT unbiased at all.
