Makes sense, I have had the biggest wins with AI by attacking nondeterminism whenever possible. BTW, you should probably fix the Beagle link on your homepage: https://replicated.live/beagle/

Whenever I see keyboard-mashed company names I know I can go to Temu/AliExpress and get it directly there. You can tell when they are all sourcing from the same batch and instead of paying $40 the same thing is often $3.28 if you don&#

Yup. Once you realize neither party actually cares about any of the top debated political issues (individuals do, but the party doesn't) but they thrust them in everyone's face day in and day out BEACUSE the country is divided nea

Very cool tool. As the "moar tokens" era is starting to wind down I think people are going to realize just how crappy these harnesses really are, especially Claude Code. I have gone back and forth between Claude and Cursor and it

The point is, what people are interested in is more social than inherent in the thing itself. Art is communicative and socially-bound.

I have gotten a lot of mileage out of giving LLMs narrow focus over the same plan or code change with different objectives. Write a plan, ask the agent to review the plan and consider where code can be consolidated. Consider downstream effe

I definitely agree with the core concept here - I think the the future isn't "make it so" prompts but crafting architecture and only sprinkling in nondeterminism where necessary. If a process can benefit from a DAG, it has no

So fans have fan fiction because they love certain worlds and characters and want more of it, or to riff on the base to take stories in new directions. We have things like TV tropes so it is no small stretch to, say, generate sitcom-type st

This assumes the hand-wavvy "production" of knowledge workers translates directly and equally into money. Making a CEO 5% more productive might mean a billion dollars or it might mean nothing. Making a developer 5% more productive

That comes down to the ability to say no (or at least "not yet"). I have seen lots of startups that land a few mid or big clients and lose the plot by serving every throwaway request the client makes. Doing this slowly turns your

The article poses if AI will be a tool, a collaborator or an oracle. Why not all 3? If mathematics is human understanding of logical consequences, understanding is the priority. But if AI proves something we can't understand but can ut

I notice Cursor already does something similar. Even if I have Opus 4.8 selected, it will trigger subagents using Composer 2.5. I like using Auto personally because it is pretty effective and deeply discounted, but at work I YOLO Opus high.

The reason people want to get a human on the other end of the line is usually because they want some sort of remediation, like a refund or need to escalate something to someone who can take an action. Right now, AI agents just barf the FAQ b

A game is 60 minutes, broken into 15 minute quarters. The play starts, the clock starts. The televised game is almost 3x that, but at least most of that is actually part of the game flow. Each play is basically a 15 second sprint.
