Thanks for creating this, guys. Any chance you might consider sticking your code on Github?

I agree that mature video games are no worse for kids than any other form of suggestive media. Teens are exposed to a lot of violence in the world, and banning just one type of it isn't going to do anything to protect them. Parents are goin

He DDoSed my friend's imageboard, and he joined our IRC to brag about it. He DEFINITELY has mental problems -- he was threatening to fry everyone's Internet with his botnet and he also threatened to DDoS my startup.

I know, but it's rubbish and they do piss users off. It's like a bank obstructing the entrance until you give them the amount of 10 previous deposits in your account. There's got to be a better way.

Steam could be considered a gaming network, I suppose. It has a pretty strong community behind it.

Chrome on OS X. Tried Firefox and it does the same thing. I don't think it's a problem with your site or code. It's probably on Disqus's end.

Have you considered taking legal action against Facebook? They've done some pretty terrible things, but that's truly horrible (and probably illegal). They just flipped the switch and deleted everything?

Was thinking about this. Sort of a "donation fund" to save the restaurant.

On an unrelated note, does Disqus not work for anyone else? I'm clicking on the text area and it doesn't do anything. Anyway, congratulations! Sounds like you're really excited, which is a great attitude to have for this sort of thing. :)

The roadblock system? Yeah, it's really flawed. I got roadblocked for logging on to my account from a Swedish IP (through a VPN; I live in the UK). It took me something like 10 tries to get through because I don't obsessively study my frien

Flash is a huge problem. My biggest pet peeve is when people use Flash where it's not needed, like menus and logos that can be done using JS or HTML5. I downright refuse to use Flash in the sites I design. It's too much bloat for the user a

Really starting to hate Facebook more than I already do. As someone below pointed out, their API is going to shit, and they're starting to become more strict with their TOS. I know 5 friends who have had their Facebook accounts forcibly clo

Yeah, I do that too. I first did it by accident but I liked the distinction between the two words so I just pronounce daemon like that.

It could be ported to the iPhone and made available through Cydia, since Apple will NEVER agree to that (as the author noted).

A site I visit frequently got its server raided by the FBI (the host was rewiredHost; it was unrelated to the site I visit). The site had to start from scratch except for their frontend code. I wonder why the FBI is raiding all these server

I can't imagine that they would kill it. It's used so much, and GarageBand doesn't offer the features that it does.

No, it's still really light and fast. Prefer it to Firefox to this day. It's gaining features and it's able to do more things than other browsers, but that doesn't make it bloated.
