you still have convection even in a sealed room. its walls also do not have zero thermal conductivity so if you don't move, you only have to reject about 100W and that is survivable but I would not want to live in that bath house.

nope, no typo. 15C+100RH+no convection = you just die in a few hours.

haha. no. try opening your window in +15C high humidity and then sleep. I assure you, sleeping in a 0-5C sleeping bag on the nearby sea shore would be a more acceptable experience. You just never lived there, yes?

Ceiling (or for that matter any) fans work on your own evaporation. So unless you accept unacceptable levels of humidity or acclimatized to much hotter climate than Sweden and are there for a short time they are not a solution. Ground sourc

Well, summers are summers. Besides typical eu ac is a thermal pump, you can heat up with it, although even in mediterannean winter it's not quite adequate.

To the first approximation you have to control thermal output of your wiring. Since it's I^2*R, you have to size your wires according to max sustained current, take into account thermal conductivity of where your wires are placed and k

So you do it according to the code or better. No cheaping out on components, no shoddy work. Insurance won't revive you or your loved cat either.

See the Brazil movie :) Idk for Americas, but here in rural EU no one would give a fuck. Some will ask for help.

How many wells (and how deep) and on what area one needs for a 1 (one) GWe sustained over 100 years? Timespan is critical too you know, you are cooling the rock below, so heat flow must be kept constant over the life of the plant. Any numbe

Horse, ha. Like a cat who knows how to teleport so rapidly around the room that he becames a blur. All the while taking into account stuff falling around he knocked down.

It's all ancient history, but before 3com domains with a leading digit 'just weren't done'. When they forced that through there was a general consternation on what crap internets are becoming.

As someone who broke a wrist by rear-ending a car on my 100cc scooter I must respectfully disagree. A broken bone is way superior learning experience compared to some bruises.

Can't one just buy some craphone for like $50? with whatever sim. The whole problem as I see it is that people for some reason submit all their life to a device they can not control. And when it bites them they go all suprised.

You can sort of play either syndicate or syndicate wars in rimworld with right set of mods. No studios needed. Satellite Reign is what crap it comes to otherwise. Even though it was kickstarted, the "studio vision" ensured it was

I'd say if there even was a bump between 90s and 2000s it was not the matrix, it was Guy Ritchie. And then Gaspar Noe sealed that. Tarantino was having a smoke nearby.

Death of Itanium was that it was a) VLIW and b) Intel was too arrogant. So it went to the same destination as later Larrabee and ATI/AMD attempts at VLIW GPUs. That is, nowhere. Also you are wrong and anyone sizing up an arch to put th

FB might or might not have a right to exist in someone's eyes, but the question remains: is 0.5c-like latency messaging across the world acceptable? Because facebook or not, given internets this is what you will end up with. People are

having a lab assignment detecting beta-emission from 40-K (potassium-40 salt) is of course unthinkable nowadays. or idk, assembling a interferometer out of a HeNe laser for example. Whoa, no! Kids can get hurt!
