Well I did 30km with ~1500m height gained three-four times a week for a while. If I pushed I maybe could do 60km, but that would be no fun. Tops was 40 km on trails and 2500m gained, but that was extreme. You need enough water, good shoes a

The key point of fascism is not "dehumanizing", "classes" or "people". Those are just side effects or by-products, whatever you like. The key point is "forget yourself, devote all you were to the state&qu

Well, adapting tank guns to operate in vacuum would be so much more interesting than just shooting them. edit: besides in vacuum you don't need "discarding sabot". there is no air resistance. so it calls for a completely diff

Well, you can't really commute on a Ninja or a Hayabusa. Dirtbike will get old fast too. Maxi/midi scooters like Yamaha Majesty / X-MAX are the commuting vehicle of choice.

Ah. My bad. Still, if you got this kind of temperature gradients, and I happen to have lived in such a place, you also got at least 100mm mineral wool insulation or eqivalent. Which is poor by the way, and people do invest into 200 or somet

That does not seem right. -10С to +20C .. I can't even think of a place with such a swing. Harsh continental climate winter is maybe -30C to -20C or so.

Try living in Goa in the monsoon season. Or even rewatch Apocalypse Now or basically any Vietnam war movie. I assure you, even 36C/100% is survivable.

Well you can look into how DFHack for Dwarf Fortress was redone. It involved a C++ decompiler written in clisp. Since then Ghidra was released, so the process is somewhat simpler, if not as much *fun*.

Happens all the time with the userspace async stuff, swapcontext(3), freebsd n:m threads, greenthreads, stackless py, it's all ancient, and they're all userspace schedulers. I think SA takes it a bit too far though. Even if it loo

Where does the "idling python code" come from? If it blocks, it blocks, that's not "idling". And I doubt they are running a process per core.

It's hard because it's useless, but overhyped. You're forced to solve problems with inappropriate tools, which is an anathema for a true engineer. Same as it was with NFTs and where they are? Same as it is with clouds and k8s
