Thanks! Have done my share of remodeling in the past. Not easy work but the goal will be to get to the point where we can hire a team of workers and just do the finances / design / management. Same as anything else, right? Takes t

Agree 100%. Similar situation; been doing this for 20 years; in my 40s now. My exit will be into rental properties and flipping houses. Not ready quite yet; might have another couple years in me, but we're planning on it.

I'm a big fan of pluralsight.com (no association). It's only $29 / month USD. I always go back to it when I want to brush up on something or learn something completely new. Not all videos / instructors are created equall

Agree with this. At least 2 jobs (I've lost count) I got based on side work I did. Full time employment history helped, but it was the side projects that showed a certain skillset that they wanted.

Maybe it's a culture / location (country) thing? Unless we're talking a tv > 60 inches, I don't recall anyone I know or talk to not hanging their tv.

What confuses me - and this gets worse as the years pass - don't most people hang their tvs now a days? Why aren't consoles designed to be hung on the wall behind the tv as well? Same can be said for Apple TV. Most of my tvs, all

Best lesson learned on plastering - thin it out a bit with water and add a little dish soap - helps keep bubbles out. Google it (where I got it from lol) Ceilings are the hardest part :( So much reaching :( Eventually I got good at corners

A problem with thoughts like this though, should I, the consumer, be able to choose what I want to do and not my app store of choice? IMO this falls inline with smoking weed or drinking alcohol. If I choose to do something and it doesn'
