Soon ICE will have given Comcast enough money to provide a live feed of the neighborhoods they are targeting and where all the bodies are that match the height of their targets. We need to be finding the xfinity wifi hotspots in our neighbo

I have personally tested wifi imaging from a cheap old 2.4Ghz linksys router that was accurate enough to tell if my hand was open or closed, maybe 10 years ago.

Comcast has remote control of all of their equipment so they will just turn it on for you if they get a court order or a big enough check from an adtech company. Wifi imaging is a bit like a silhouette and generally accurate enough to work

Ah yeah that tracks. My enclosed Prusa MK4 is on a big stud-mounted shelf and my huge enclosed Prusa XL is on top of a heavy server rack with locked castors on a concrete floor. Vibration is not noticeable in either case.

Getting one with an enclosure like a Prusa Core One does wonders for noise reduction. Can even throw it under a desk. I had one in my office for years and no one could hear it on the other side of video calls.

My favorite thing to do at Apple stores as a teen was jailbreak display phones and setup reverse ssh tunnels on them, for reasons.

I just pull out calipers, take some quick measurements, then put them into OpenSCAD, export, and hit print. Between Honeycomb Storage Wall and Gridfinity almost every tool I own has a home.

Trust me once you start printing this you are going to want it all over your home and want new panels on demand for any otherwise useless wall space. 3D printers are cheap!

Also the proprietary license on multiboard is absolutely insane. Not only is it closed source, even the printed objects have strings attached. If you ever use anything you print from the multiboard library in a for-profit setting you are ob

My go-tos are the CIGA Eye Of Horus and the Bradley Element, both using a Leatherman Tread for a band with TreadLinks adapters so I always have some basic tools with me which get used a surprising amount.

No cell phone at all as I do not wish to have my location sold, rely on proprietary tech, or to be reachable at all times. I also use cash exclusively IRL so my digital footprint away from home is virtually zero. I am happiest being intenti

Exactly. I have had multiple people I was close to die due to smoking created health issues in the last decade. Even if smoking is not as prevalent today, we are paying the price for it now.

I use a VoIP account from a pocketable linux laptop when I need SMS or calling capability on the go, which is rare. It can normally wait, so I normally carry no devices at all. Not carried a cell phone in ~5 years.
