t-deck has a keyboard and is ideal for a personal handset. A G2 Basestation or rak device is ideal for node to node communication to act as a base station for range extension.

If you want something like this with asymmetric encryption, a qwerty keyboard, mesh range extension, and a GUI, try a T-Deck running Meshtastic.

I run AdNauseam to click as many ads as possible randomly simulating ad-addicted humans, just to waste as much money of adtech companies and ad buyers as possible. This year I caused something like $10k to likely be paid for ads to be deliv

You are more accommodating than me. Profit driven targeted content of any kind, especially ads, are poison. I could never knowingly enable anyone in my household to harm themselves with something so toxic to brain health and quality of life

I go to CCC and Defcon every year and they are night and day. CCC actively discourages companies from advertising unless they are fully open source community driven orgs. Governments are even less welcome. While even the Privacy Village at

There are several thousand expired email domains of maintainers right now on NPM alone, allowing you to easily take over their accounts if you wanted, arguably legally, for maybe $10. I bought the domain name of the sole maintainer of the N

It is absolutely not alarmist. Seriously, go apply to be a Homebrew developer right now under an alias, make some useful updates for a few months, then submit a PR as another alias, and approve and merge your own changes from the first alia

Eroded public trust in government is however a good thing. Our biggest mistake as a supposedly free country was trusting centralized entities to forever act in accordance with the will of the majority. As a society we need to stop asking fo

We will do a 180 and start walking the other way in 3 years. And then 4 years after that will be back here again. As is tradition. America never dies, it just walks in circles aimlessly while others march ahead in a mostly straight line lau

In California you can just open source it and do not need permission as long as you did it on personal time on personal hardware without referencing proprietary IP. Sure, a company could not like you doing that and find a reason to fire you
