Hmmm, from a quick search, https://getmemex.com/ might be what I want. Needs a tiny bit of research whether it's something I actually want in my browser.

Ah, fair enough, finding a thing I've seen before has never been in my powers too :( I was very happy when someone announced a project to make a thing that indexes your own search history. I believe that it had a Mozilla affiliation. B

Can you provide some example queries? I work for Google, but nowhere near search. I'm just curious whether that's a difference in search bubbles, as I haven't noticed this problem.

Indeed, you can't share in that case. The work of the distributor, as described in the article, is to make them share by unifying all those and requiring libraries to have stable ABI.

You can't deduplicate if your 200 applications are using 20 minor versions times 50 mixes of compile flags. You're lucky if any two share the same output.

You really missed the point. It does not matter if the "secret sauce infra" is better than equivalents. What matters is that the code you have is based on it. And since literally everything is based on Stubby, which has a hard dep

Another subthread here states that ads on search are a majority of Google's revenue. Looking at [1], we see the US being 46% of the revenue. So, assume that search in the US pays for 20% of Google's revenue. Apparently Google'

Network-wise this is a feature. Having the address space reflect network layout allows for vastly simpler, thus more efficient, routing tables.

Now, think about search. I know a guy who named his company using his last name and after 20-odd years got told by some customers that searching for it yields dick pics. He suspected a googlebomb... But no, it just happens that his name is
