+1, although we use "git fetch origin && git rebase -p origin/branchname" to avoid the nasty behaviour of 'git pull --rebase' where it rewrite all commits of a merged branch on the current branch instead of just redoing the merge co

"Sucking the profit" out of an industry is something that happens when you're undercutting everyone on price, driving prices down and reducing overall profits. Apple products arent exactly known for being cheap, so i think it's a stretch to

There are actually two dates associated with each commit. I cat recall the names for them off he top of my head but they're basically created_at and modified_at, and the modified_at ones will be chronological after a rebase.

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. Comparing reading a dictionary definition to an encyclopedia entry, and complaining that the encyclopedia had more detail? Perhaps it'd be a fairer comparison if you compared reading the first

Not having automated test covering a piece of code does not imply that it's untested at the time it's written, but it sure as hell implies that it's not getting tested when seemingly unrelated feature X gets refactored and unknowingly break

You sound like someone who's never dealt with a blackspot on their credit history (as an aside, never leave bills in your name when you move out, trusting your ex-housemates not to be douchebags). It's not about not being able to borrow, it

Too bad for IE users. They've said they're redoing it to given users of modern browsers the best experience, and if you use a crap browser you just get full page loads. /#!'s are getting kicked to the curb

It's shocking that the USA is so far behind in this respect. Here in Australia we are probably 10 years from getting anything like square, but we've had simple bank to bank transfers between individuals for as long as I can remember. I'm al
