In my experience, most really great developers have made similar mistakes at some point in their pasts. Often these mistakes are what catalyze growth and create the scar tissue that helps them (and organizations) to not repeat the same clas

Followed up via email, this sounds like a bug which we'll look at. We use geoIP for the ccTLD redirect, but then Accept headers should dictate the language subdomain.

Lawyers frequently work on a purely speculative basis. Either via free consultations or contingent fees (paid only on a win). It works pretty well for them. There is even a marketplace for crowdsourcing legal opinions from qualified lawyers

We started 99designs to provide opportunities to designers. Each month more and more designers make meaningful salaries from the site and connect with customers that they would otherwise have had to pitch for. Customers who wouldn't have pr

Absolutely. I'm amazed at how many developers don't have some sort of code to show that they can code. The thing I like about asking for open-sourced work is that it's not wasted effort like tests. You write something inherently useful and

Yup, this is common. If you put this in a function and use extract you can create a clean working space for a template where you can use $vars without worrying about polluting scope. I'd assume the 16x calls would be because they have a ver
