Not always! If computation involves math over set of records, then Postgres is great for that. Have the operation inside the db reduce connection pooling on the application level.

In this day and age, if you don't own the domain, you don't own your email. It is worth the 10 bucks to get your self a domain just so you can have a long term email.

I wish every browser does that! Web site has no business storing data on my computer more than 4093 bytes (that is already too much) per domain in my computer just because I visited a web page. 10 MB - 10GB of data is too much.

Wikipedia has Random article for ages now. All TikTik did was put on a nicer UI. Of course UI are important most user are suckers for that stuff. However I found there really aren't any new ideas left just implementations.

One can make code more readable and intuitive and making a good product for the user. I have done both in heavy server side rendering using templates and SPA rendering on the client side. It all comes down to your user base and the devices
