The heart of the problem in my opinion is that Google is an ad company first. Their primary concern is selling ads. If a given product is not helping them target or sell their ads, it gets sunset. Google has a long history of ruining or kil

I'm with you. I've had CarPlay and Android Auto in my past 3 cars, and could not be bothered to use them. I'de much rather just use built in navigation, stereo and local media. Involving my phone is just frustrating. Gerneral

I've been saying this about Google for a decade... everyone thinks I'm nuts.

Sounds about right... I am still cheesed that they're treating the address bar like where you search. For me, if the address bar does happen to go away, so does chrome.

Lost me at step 1. There isn't an explanation as to why docker is a good idea... I feel it isn't, and I'm kind of too lazy to go figure if I'm wrong.

Main thing for me is size in the hand and squared off sides. I find anything with rounded edges I can't hold on to and just hits the floor constantly... little better with a case, but that makes the phones just that much bigger and les

I can't help but think the fine is too low. It would be more profitable to pay the $100,000/year in fines than disclose the discounted rates. shrug

My gut says this is related to forced updates and unwanted interface changes in current Microsoft products. It's been super annoying where I work, and staff are pretty upset.

Gonna try it... tried OneDrive but oddly enough, Microsoft Office documents and files are a complete pain in the rear to open/save there because the microsoft apps treats it differently than just a storage device.

Wouldn't it be easier to just turn off wifi and unplug the ethernet cable?

Exactly why I turn off all assist systems in our vw. I can't tell you how many times it misread the lines and nudged my steering into oncoming traffic. Eventually everyone will realize this stuff is just a bad idea.

This brought a smile to my face. I've hated them since they first showed up. Kudo's Mazada. Kudos.

I second this... a lot of times, broken make files are standing between you and victory, so it would be good to at least have some familiarity with them.

Yes. Picking up items at an Apple store still subjects you to mall parking hell, walking through the mall, finding Waldo to fetch your item and paying. I'de say pickup at Bestbuy or Home Depot is infinitely better... pickup desk genera

I find the apple store uninviting and uncomfortable. They're generally packed with people standing around... you have no idea where to go or who is available... more obscurely controlled chaos than clear and apparent order. I feel vis

Apple was losing billions in China. While this is just some of the phones trickling into other markets for replacement, it's still fraud and hurting Apple. This is why recently they've started to say iPhone exchanges had to be sen

Personally I wouldn't touch it. We're going on 10 years of 'blockchain' being inappropriately applied to anything and everything and you can still count the winners on one hand. It's illegal to set money on fire...

I have resorted to using DND mode as a whitelist. If a caller does not identify with a number in my contacts list, the phone doesn't ring. I feel whitelisting is the only thing that's going to stop the calls... extreme or not.

Who is asking for this? Even if they can get them to not kill people and co-exist with human drivers... why would anyone want to own one of these? Why wouldn't you just hire/summon one as needed?

Generally, pro-audio users lag behind on OS updates and hardware updates. Apple generally has problems with audio with every new generation, and this is nothing new. When you count on something to work, you tend to buy the old models.. you
