I went to school for both chemistry and electrical engineering. I've since acquired the habit of using a lab notebook with everything I do. It's an amazingly useful utility both for recall but also record keeping. Make it a habit

Techendo predicted the rise of Elon Musk on an old episode way back in the day. Now I'm quite honestly tired of hearing about the hype. The fatigue is real.

Things like this that worry me and make me diametrically opposed to any of the big company employees holding seats of authority at any body residing over any spec or working groups as well. They'll never have the user's interest a

This cartoon was my jam. Growing up on comics as a kid with idols like Tony Stark, etc and all the sci-fi future stuff, just made me want to become an engineer/scientist.

Palo Alto is one of the few places it's actually legal to sleep in a vehicle. El Camino is a good (but loud) spot to sleep at where you won't get hassled by cops.

I agree. We originally wanted to build an appliance for it, but hardware is hard. So we abstracted out what we could and while we use "people" contributing data, the reality is that any agent (IoT, etc) on the network can particip

I'm fascinated by what's going to happen in the post (monopolized) data economy. When data acquisition can happen autonomously, beyond HITL. Taking that data and building, growing, and strengthening intelligence could scale up som
