Agree with you on all of your points. I picked up Go in my senior year of college because it seemed interesting. None of my peers had heard of it. This led to my first job out of college where the company's backend was written in Go. H

For sure. Here in NYC, I at least see kids walking home and hanging out with each other. If you can afford it, I'd say it's a great place to raise a kid.

I want my kids to either grow up in a huge city like NYC where I live or a rural area. I spent a year in a small town in rural NC and your kids can grow up wild. I think the suburbs are the stifling force here. They're too safe.
