Maybe there shouldn't be a to_bytes(body) -> Bytes function at all ? Only a to_bytes(body: B, max_size: Option<usize>) This way if someone REALLY wants the behavior that potentially results in a crash, they

Yes, that was an idea of ChatGPT. I could have had it remove the timer, but I find it interesting this way. To get a good score, you have to play multiple times, and in the end you really learn the answer to all the questions.

This is a very interesting topic. I think this is something that needs to be discussed. When discussing politics with chatgpt, its worldview always seems to match the one of a rich educated American progressist. In particular, it speaks a l

I had to ask it to refactor components multiple times, so as to keep small components that it could easily rewrite in full in a single answer.

I made it over the course of several hours, and had to start from a fresh thread multiple times. I don't have all of the prompts. But here are some examples: - Fix the missing div and classes in the component - Wait a few milliseconds

I think Puerto Rico was part of Spain at the time. I just asked for controversial questions about the US foreign policy, and ChatGPT came up with that. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Puerto_Rico

I think the bug in this code is the interface that it exposes. If a listener A removes another listener B during the dispatch of an event, then - if B was added after A, it will not receive the current event - if A was added after B, then B

SQLite was one of the first large C code bases to be ported to the web. Alon Zakai (@kripken, the creator of emscripten), made the first commit to sql.js at the start of 2012 [0]. I got involved two years later, and have been maintaining sq

Hi! I'm the main maintainer of sql.js. Is there somewhere I can get in touch with you? Would you be interested in publishing this as a new major version of sql.js itself ?

Ecmascript had the same problem, and fixed it without breaking backwards compatibility. In javascript, for (var i=0; i<3; i++) setTimeout(() => console.log(i)) Would print 3,3,3. So in ecmascript 6, blocked-scope variables we

It's incredible that cloudflare compares itself to a firefighter answering all calls wherever they come from. They are more like a private security company working for a mafia boss that pays them well.

Well, I could, but a free software with non-free dependencies is not of much use... Would you use another software with the same licensing restrictions as SurrealDB in SurrealDB itself?

I am not sure this applies in this case. I don't know how Zoom's XMPP backend works, but it could very well parse and serialize and still be vulnerable. If the xml library accepts invalid 3-byte utf8 characters on parse, then its
