Word is awful too, it messes up formatting, especially when pasting images. Good luck writing anything longer than couple pages. Hasn't been solved in 20 years. Have stopped using word 2 years ago but I am gonna assume it's still

It's honestly surprising that it took this long even on KDE. I was switching themes automatically for years with a preference setting in f.lux. Every app on system preference, dark reader as well.

For scripting, no doubt about that! But if you want to use some custom tool you can use sshfs to mount whatever is on the other side onto your system and work from there. That has its own set of limitations but it makes some stuff much easi

MINISFORUM N5 series look like it totally destroys whatever synology has on the market. Also if you don't like their software, you can install whatever you want on it. Why bother with synology?

it's not LTS release so it's mostly fine, but they still should postpone the release until such bugs are fixed

after upgrading dozens of servers I'd say the biggest pain is if someone installs dpkg package manually and not from a repo also some very old repos went away over time, so your best bet is to always use the official debian repo, maybe

I meant for a dev kit it's fine, but it's not viable for anything beyond that. Shouldn't cost 100x of RPi if you gonna use as a part of a robot.

Sure very smaller businesses are just cheap, but the rest want to get the most value out of that money spent. Finding and switching to alternatives with better price/performance is pretty normal I'd say.

Sorry but that just means the feature is difficult to use on either side, so that would be at least 50% of your problem anyway. Provide good docs? How about that? Every time someone has a problem create docs for it and after some time those
