Possible portability to Android -- might take some work, but much less than it would be to port Swift. From an architecture point-of-view, there is ReactCocoa.

I have lived on the East coast my whole life (40+ years) and am in my fourth startup. Practically every good developer I've worked with has some side project they do on their own time. I find it hard to believe that anyone would fire s

You can leave it blank in an application. In an interview, just say you are looking for the right fit and you are sure we will be able to come to an agreement if we want to work together. The best case is that they just don't want to w

And I found my current job a Trello there. I wanted a remote dev position and spent a few months getting an RSS feed of remote jobs from SO -- it was, by far, the highest quality of my sources.

The best case is that they are doing it to get an idea of whether they should be pursuing you or not (if prior). You should politely decline.

A well-typed program is isomorphic to a proof -- google "propositions as types". This is not the same as saying your program is correct. For your specific question, google "dependent types", which are types that depend o

If it's just for fun/curiosity, I'd say Swift. If you want to be a working iOS dev, you need to know Obj-C for now.

Never heard of a bad actor. I think you just choose a law firm, insurance company, big 4 accounting firm. That sort of company. They just need to safeguard the code drops and execute the transfer at the proper time. Like reading a will.

I have worked at startups that people could believe would fail. We used source code escrow services that release the code to customers if we went out of business. Any of them would have been free to open-source.

An estate of 5 million pays $0 in estate tax. The tax is on the amount (net of deductions) OVER 5.34 million. A net $6m estate would pay about 4% (264k), not 40%.
