I'm a MacOS person (iOS dev for a living, no choice), but how is WSL; from a development perspective?

This. While maybe not the 'single biggest improvement', as a single woman who likes to travel in the city, cabs feel about as safe as buying drugs off a street dealer. Actually, I've often felt safer buying drugs in my 20&#x2

I think what OP means is that a company so large should have the resources to test such edge cases.

Someone who I know has the last name ‘Island’ and was unable to sign up for Facebook forever because they thought it was a fake last name. Maybe ‘Siren’ is similar. It’s a pre-existing word that perhaps flags some sort of weird edge case.

Instagram and Snapchat want to say hi. Even stuff like TextPlus that lacks desktop clients. I can think of quite a few apps I'd immediately grab.

Rather than fixing the issues behind the brand, just change the name?

'Airplane!' is something like 'Family Guy' - and please note, for cartoon fans; I'm not saying 'South Park', here. There's an episode called '200'; (or something) where 'Family Guy&#x27

She, but exactly the point. I even mentioned in my post packing it up to go travel somewhere else, not sure how that was missed.

It’s a damn shame we never got any hardware worthwhile.

Setting up all those stupid sensor boxes is a massive chore that takes away the immense joy of throwing it in a backpack and bringing it to the cottage for a round of Beat Sabre. Honestly, I hated setting up, packing up and re-setting up

I just use Unity and create my own experiences - I don’t find the SDK limiting in any way as it is. There’s nothing I’d like to create that I can’t, beyond maybe a custom home room?

Can someone please explain for the uninitiated what kind of crazy magic is going on here? I don’t know Windows very well and this seems impressive; I’d like to understand what it is a bit better.

Since 3D TV's never got to a glasses-less state, they were always an incredible compromise. AR already works better than 3D TV's ever did, in that regard. I always said, back in the day - 'I'll invest in 3D when we don&#

Also, Palm's WebOS was fantastic - the issues were too little, too late; stupid carrier exclusivity, and underpowered hardware. WebOS had some real potential, too.

I wish the Oculus Quest 2 had higher quality cameras. Some of my favourite times in that experience are when I have to see the world through my googles.

Yeah, seems way too high. I recently got an Oculus Quest 2 and was immediately stunned by the dearth of content that exists on the platform. AR/VR is a hard sell, still; besides the initial experience - and as a dev in the AR/VR i

    >> This is like the amiga. Problem is it was marketed like a supercomputer and what we got was an Amiga. Which is fine for the hobbyist nerds who can see the potential. Not so good for literally anyone else.

Fun fact: The only reason I was even aware .club is even a TLD was from when I signed up for Daft Punk’s ‘Daft Club’ way back in the early ‘00’s. I got a membership card in, I believe - my copy of ‘Discovery’.
