The NFL has already been politicized. It has mostly tilted right wing. The rah rah pro military stance after 9/11 (which I overall agree with) that still continues now. The Breast cancer awareness ribbons. The debate over the Washingto

I don't get why people are up in arms in here. It's YC prerogative to keep working with Thiel, it's project Include prerogative to cut them off because of it. I always believe in voting with your dollar. If something bothers

I totally agree. I thought it was because I bought the Nexus 6P but no. It seems that on most devices I tried Google's voice recognition has gotten a lot better.

I work at place that deals with leads and the sales people almost sit right next to us. And they definitely get into the names big time like the post said. Talking about sports, from what I hear, they don't usually direct the conversat

A good thing to look at right now is the "Asian Contagion" in 1997. While we have different spark there is a good chance that the pattern could be similar. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1997_Asian_financial_cr

We have done this to celebrities for decades with the caveat that they asked for this life when they decided to become a celebrity. Now with social media we all get a chance to make ourselves mini celebrities and there is a price to be paid

Not liking sports doesn't make you a snob or elitist. Its when a percentage of people who don't like sports put down people who do that these words come into play.

This article is right. A big appeal of sports is the camaraderie. As long as you don't take it too seriously its just all in fun. I follow a lot of people in tech on social media (mainly twitter) and while 90% its interesting and insig
