The PS2 was a state of the art machine with similar hardware of a SGI workstation. Those computers started at 20k. While the PS5 has similar hardware as a low end PC. If the PS5 had a Nvidia A100 the comparasion would make sense and people

The PS2 release price was $299 USD. Consoles used to be cheap.

I loved the gameplay on "Her Story". I don't know if I finished the game, it really didn't matter anyway.

Only 50% of Americans have Passports. 80% in Europe. We understand it, because we travel there on, our paid, vacations. My last time in America I went to San Francisco, lots of money, I have not seen a worst place to live in my life. Americ

For context I did development with a Teensy board and the library I was using for physical buttons claims to have 20 nanoseconds latency using the CPU interrupts.

The hardware buttons need a system, microcontroller with software or whatever, to manage its state just like the screen.

Mac OS is amazing, using a Mac for games is not a good idea. Most AAA, AA, and indie games don't run on Mac.

It seems you have no idea what you are talking about. (See I can do it too! I am attacking you, your knoledge, your inteligence, not your comment. And the "best" part is that sentence can be used to "win" any argument!)

You don't need to rewrite old .net project to compile it in a new machine. But is also not a trivial task.

You are the one who can't come up with a good argument and have to resort to personal attacks. I call that a falacy. I have been playing CS for +20 years.

You said humans are machines that make errors ans that LLMs can easily find errors in output they themself produce. Are you sure you wanted to say that? Or is the other way around?

No, antivirus can't know if a virus is running on Ring 0, it can try, but the virus can just stop the antivirus and the OS won't stop it. At ring 0 the virus can do whatever it wants with your computer.

Dota and CS don't have kernel anticheat and they are as competitive as LoL or Valorant.

I said it because I think other kernel level anticheat don't do it. If I remember correctly I can just enable/disable the easy anticheat service, sane with the EA thing, I don't need to reboot the machine like with Vanguard.

Ring 3 and Ring 0 can try to do the same bad stuff. But the point is that in one the OS security layers or antivirus will catch it.

I could pirate every game on my collection but one, EA FC 24, wich uses Denuvo. It also runs very bad, brings my CPU to its knees, and can't keep 60 FPS with a 500$ GPU, maybe cause Denuvo maybe not, but I will think twice the next tim
