Nice and well executed, but as the others pointed out => how is it different / more useful than the other guys ? Maybe you could differentiate by only asking (or allowing to answer) my direct social graph. Way less interesting for you i

Too bad you can only vote once, i would put a +20 on this ! That's for me the critical feature #1 in a service : your users use your product for one very clear reason. They come to your app to do specifically this. There might be other feat

Sweet :) We had a similar experience when we launched secretpoke : http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=2179649 We have been on the home page for about 24 hours, and on the top position for ~3 hours. In those 3 hours only, we saw about 5K

Nice tool, and nice exec on the mobile version. Although I would recommend a super simple addon to improve the look and feel : <meta name="apple-mobile-web-app-capable" content="yes" /> Try it, hit the "install on my home screen" b

Would you downvote me if i used the bad wordplay of saying that i'm ...... sucked away ? :) It's really pretty amazing. But the very sad thing is that the kidney printing ( http://www.shockmd.com/2011/03/10/printing-a-human-kidney/ ) would

Testing it right now, but your best use-case would be to have your OWN site developed with mobl-lang... Accessing it with a mobile device is pretty difficult. No mobile version?

Yep, that's exactly it : the difference between men and women - or at least me and my girlfriend, to avoid generalization :) - is that we know what and where to buy what we need. When she goes out 'shopping', it defines a hobby, whereas it

There's a startup in France doing that : http://dress-me.fr/beta They are polishing the beta, but the app is pretty solid. On wider range, social shopping and social fashion have been really hot lately, and over the past 2 years. I've wo

You've had the chance to sit on "both sides of the table" in a vibrant startup ecosystem. Also, the average BA/VC in NYC (or the valley or Boston) is way more tech/startup savvy the avg BA/VC elsewhere... Getting feedback on your day to day

Reminds me of the post by Mark Suster => invest in lines, not in dots : http://www.bothsidesofthetable.com/2010/11/15/invest-in-line... I think it goes the same way for (co)founders: partner in lines, not in dots. Your relationship wi
