Seems that, regardless of platform, this was only really relevant back in 2017.

Completely agree. JPIMedia seems to be one of the big players, most of their content is just from "the i newspaper". There's a little bit of local content, and it's all locked behind a "turn off your ad-blocker or e

Might be nice to do some more input validation, particularly for links - the editor is happy to insert a javascript: link. I don't think this poses a security issue (at most, you'll get what - a self XSS?) because you'd obvio

I believe the Play store is treated 'special' though - F-Droid can't install apps in the same way unless you're rooted and install the priv-app.

It's a pity the tooling is comparatively immature, with F# (or at least that was my experience last time I tried to develop with it). I think Rider is getting there, though. To go into more detail, the initial implementation in Rider w

Were these features licensed in such a way that you could freely use them, though? Or was it 'open' as in "you can see the code" but it's not FOSS?

I'm actually okay with these more enterprise features still being premium. Basic RBAC, TLS support and user management should've been core from the start for free, though.

There are quite a few non-legacy bank accounts that you can apply for a company account with in a very painless manner. Monzo, Starling and Tide spring to mind. I use Monzo as part of their business banking trial, but I previously have used

It's kinda odd to see these sorts of "gen-ed" requirements from the UK. US college degrees seem to be lengthened a year and required to be partially filled with what appears to be a bunch of irrelevant classes. I'd be pr

I suspect we'll never know for sure, but we can guess. ~73% of users apparently use Android to access WhatsApp [1]. As of the start of 2018, WhatsApp had 1.3 billion monthly users [2]. Less than 0.3% of Android users globally use an in

CVE-2019-3568 suggests this was a buffer overflow. I'd like to understand why this was implemented in native code - Android seems to have an `android.net.rtp` package? Is this simply for performance, or to enable code-sharing across An

Note that the EU rules apply differently to data than they do to voice and SMS usage. A provider offering unlimited data in the UK can cap your data usage in Belgium or charge e.g. £8 / GB after you use 20GB of data.

What's with the poor data pricing? These plans seem like a non-starter for _any_ application that's remotely data intensive. At $50 / month you're going to get a total of 4GB in the USA. That's just unworkable for s
