IMO the “tech market” is uselessly broad. Why include Google fellows with desktop IT at a regional insurance brokerage in the same group? I don’t think it helps set policy well for either group.

I think it has to be by industry and role. Software, mechanical engineering, teaching, medicine, etc are all very different
