I’m surprised by the comments here. The Broadcom business model (outside the chip business) had been pretty well known, and they don’t really hide it. They are tech bottom feeders. They find large businesses with a decent moat and free cas

Seems reasonable. Of course there are really good (true) roundabout designs that are great of cycling (and walking), but without understanding the space it's hard to know if they would fit / work well.

Past a certain point top talent care more about how they are treated then even more money. The top of the field can get generational wealth at a bunch of different places, why would they put up with Zuck?

Someone from Google can quickly enlighten us. Look up the current tenure to be at 50% in percent, for Eng. I think it was about 2 years 10ish years ago, but that was during rapid growth. Now that overall growth is down it is useful for th

The problem with that argument is the failure to reasonably factor in time. If you take an expected value approach (quite reasonable in general) looking into the future you need to discount for time or everything goes to infinity.

That was my general impression. They did amazing work to totally change launch costs (with more on the way). But launch was a limited market. The low costs have and will grow it, and starlink will grow it, but not enough to justify this
