The problem with anecdotes around the flu shot is there's a clear bias involved. If you get the shot and end up getting the flu its because the shot didn't work. If you get the shot and don't end up getting the flu it might b

The feedback was more than just "Please be on time". It was proceeded by multiple statements on the impact of being late. The fact that you should be on time is obvious, but the impact of not being on time isn't always obviou

They’re trick questions, so I think it’s fair to be pedantic. It’s asking for fastest method not the one with least complexity. I would argue the fastest method would be to pick a random location in memory and get lucky.

I rarely need same day flights or even short notice flights unless they're for work (in which case they would book the flight for me using their travel agent). As a result I'm flexible with the airline and travel dates and usually

From a pragmatic point of view I would actually expect it to be pretty common for games to sacrifice code quality. You build a game with a set end date, and do a small amount of maintenance on it moving forward. As opposed to an engine wher

Worth at least noting that this article is about distributed teams more broadly and not remote work specifically. You can be on a distributed team and not work remotely. You can even be on a distributed team and all share the same building.

They made the look polarizing and a bit extreme for free PR. For the first few years after launch, every time it's seen on the road, people will talk about whether they love it or hate it. If they made it look like the F-150, most peop

I only have a data point of 1 on this so it may be different than other companies, but by the time I'm implementing a PIP, I've already made up my mind that I want the employee out. I've already worked on coaching them and id

I was just looking up individual insurance rates the other day. You can probably find health insurance for $321/mo, and really don't cover all that much outside of catastrophic problems. If you want decent coverage you're loo

If you're ignoring all other influences then there is no such thing as interstellar objects. By definition, every object in a two body system are gravationally bound to each other.

Captured into a stable orbit, sure, but it will never have an eccentricity of 0 (circular). The limit can approach zero, but will never be equal to it. Even the planets don’t have a circular orbit FWIW.

If you're willing to put some time into configuration, check out chunkwm (which is apparently being replaced by yabai, which I haven't tried). Its the closest I've gotten to a true tiling window manager on OSX, not without it
