Whatever you're looking for you won't find it on Elance or similar sites. Generally, those are places to pump out boring work at cheap prices. As far as skills go, just look for programming skills, ideally with a body of completed

Don't under-estimate the power of single layer neural networks--classifiers. They're much cheaper to train effectively and avoid over-fitting. Also, I've had good results using multiple classifiers that essentially cast votes

Are you hiring for remote workers? If not, do a search on your city and see how many jobs come up. If barely any then that's the reason (chicken egg problem because your local devs have no reason to use the site). Otherwise consider ha

I'm glad Apple was so thoughtful with their UX. However, I think the appeal of quality watches is their timelessness and endurance. They could conceivably work just as well centuries from now. The iWatch can't work more than a day

If you're ok spending lots of money, maybe you can get a dedicated fiber line. Companies like Level3, Cogent, or XO might work, but if this place is really isolated it might be too hard. I found Level3 the easiest to talk to.
