I used runpod.io prior to buying a pair of 3090s. They make it easy to run vllm too so you can experiment with different models. I also rented a GPU vm from them and ran huggingface models on it. That did require lot more coding and learnin

I donate to UNICEF on a monthly basis. These sorts of things are terrible, but I’d like to think donating helps a little. https://www.unicef.org/

QR codes would be a great addition. I've even tested out sending the WebRTC offer/answer via a QR GIF (due QR image data limits) to make the connection very private. The account solution was quick to setup for now and allowed me

It's not high on my TODO list for the project, but shouldn't be too much work. I'd give it a try if you're interested. Want me to reply to your comment when I get a Linux version released?

Thanks for the feedback. I use the accounts to know which device want to be connected. The devices create a mesh network via webrtc. Perhaps, I need to make it more clear why accounts are needed.

I found that using Axum and bundling it with the Tauri app was easier than using a front end framework to build the UI.

I’ve been using Tauri for an app I’m developing. The Tauri team is super helpful in their Discord channel. Writing everything in Rust, including the UI (using Axum) has been nice. I’m really excited for 2.0 and mobile support! My app (very

The Agile development with Rails series is a great full stack book. They come out with a new book when rails comes out with a new version. The latest book is below. https://www.amazon.com/Agile-Web-Development-Rails-7/d

That'd be great, and I'd love to help in any way I can! Feel free to @mention me on Github. https://github.com/logankeenan Thanks for making htmx!

Have you considered replacing xhr with fetch? I believe it would allow htmx to be used in even more places. Fetch can be hijacked so returning data to the htmx framework isn't limited to the network. You could "run" a server

I sold my car more than a year ago now and I’ve been using an E-bike as a replacement. I work from home so I didn’t really need a car that often and can coordinate with my wife when I need to use the family vehicle. It hasn’t been too bad a

It’s often not that easy to figure out the last modified when serving up a web page. There might be multiple DB records for that page. Hashing the page into an etag often easier to implement.

This is similar to how I’ve been using ChatGPT. If you know what you need to do and how to do it, then you can tell ChatGPT what to do in a descriptive prompt. It gets you there 75% of the way and then you need to tweak things or ask it to
