They’re not for hobbyist. Wrong shelf. They’re for real products and not SBCs. That’s why you also don’t have NXP parts in the hobby area. For low volume you buy SOMs and for big runs design complete printed circuit boards.

I put sometimes a mechanical watch under my mouse too. I wish, I don’t need to do this at my next job. It’s bad, but the work of my last 2 years was dumped into thrash by clever managers.

The question is if customers care about that. Crazy engineering is cool for sure, but it must be profitable too. In my environment people stopped buying newest phones years ago anyway.

My brilliant manager still has his home office day during team meeting. So the whole team sits with headsets on their desks and talks to the manager who’s sitting at home. That’s how return to the office plan works for the peasants. Good th

Congrats. You just killed all small consumer hardware companies with 7 years software support. I mean all the EC crap costs alone €30k, then electronic waste taxes and software support on top. Let the Europeans play with wooden horses then.

Many companies built stock over last years and stoped buying new semiconductors until stock is almost depleted. I am sure it will be fine, no contraction soon. Only semiconductor companies will suffer.
