I guess it’s the lack of everything in a partially state owned company. Here you go: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_Act They don’t really think about competition. That’s an arena for power fights, empire bu

That’s probably how 80% of presentations I attended last couple years were presented. Open slide, read sentences written there, go to next slide. Not nice.

AMD got rid of the foundries in the past. The other company is GlobalFoundries and looks like to be doing fine. Intel tried to do the same 15 years later, but didn’t succeed. It’s really hard to have both things right - semiconductor manuf

I am the guy with an appointment with Ozempic prescribing doctor. I will seriously think about it twice. “Normal” starving does not have any very rare and very bad consequences. It’s just very very difficult.

This! A big red flag to me too. The manufacturing is hard. Even if you design it properly there are million ways to fail somewhere in the manufacturing process. Hardware is for graybeards.

It’s not that hard to reverse engineer anything you know about. You know, there is FPGA, there is PCIe, FPGA model is also known. All externals interfaces are also known. High probability, that the board is not broken. Imagine obscure mothe
