There's probably some license boiler plate on the product somewhere that lets them do whatever they want. No argument needed.

Thanks for the calendar recommendation. Ugh. Already switch to City Mapper from Google Maps when Google stripped that app. Sad to see the rest of the apps going the same way now.

One of the studies we were shown in a usability class was that pretty interfaces are rated by users as more satisfying and actually are better at letting them accomplish goals as well. If you went to a really ugly web site with lots of clut

Yuck, yeah, that last item of the contents taking up a full second page is really annoying. It would be much more usable and fitting to reduce the blank space above to fit the whole thing. Seems obviously not hand tuned.

Would be interesting to see what the new zero gap screen looks like in person. For people who don't know, screens often have spaces between the front glass, actual LCD, touch sensor, etc.. Zero gap/laminated should improve display

Hmm, I don't really see any benefit over my current solutions. I can wear cheap foam/silicone ear plugs and just set my alarm louder. Sometimes I just sleep with small rubber wired ear buds in (not the hard plastic ones) if I want

I used to drink many cups a day (too lazy to eat) for years. I've been avoiding it the past couple months, however, to clear up some inflammation issues (arthritis, psoriasis, etc.). They did go away, but I dropped a lot of other thing

I recently upgraded OSX and couldn't read KeyNote presentations by any one else in the office. I'd honestly pay them $100 to take the crippling upgrade back at this point.

Yes it does. Android includes the NDK as well as the SDK for writing native code (C, C++, etc.) which gives you ARM, etc. specific libraries you package in your app. Although it is pretty popular for people to drop Intel's lib houdini

It's nice to be an idealist like that, but like the capitalism vs. communism argument - when they made water free in Cuba, people just left the taps running. In reality, media like movies, games, and reality TV make massive amounts of

Hope they don't retina the air like the article assumes. I don't need the pixels to code, and I prefer the battery life, performance, and weight savings of not having it.

That's irrelevant because it is illegal to go above 400ft with a model aircraft, which is before the zones balloon out any anyway. It's like saying being illegal once over or twice over matters.
