It's common to put people who are already employed through these things when their skills are out of date. You'd much prefer a JS developer than a Fortran or Pascal developer today, right? But many huge corporations have only the

I think it is misleading to have a big picture of an iPhone at the top, and talk extensively about selling outside the app store, when that isn't a realistic option for iOS smartphone developers. You are forced to use the App Store for

Doesn't seem logical to me. What if you have a white coat, with black trim, with white background. Wouldn't your solution incorrectly remove white from the results?

Just doesn't seem very informed at all. The article claims third party developers will stop writing native apps on the app store because web allows them to avoid paying the app store revenue share. That just doesn't make any sense

Matz is the creator of Ruby. If this guy really wanted to play ball, why didn't he just submit PRs for improving the real Ruby's test suite? Instead he just made his own thing, well duh it didn't end up a part of the real Rub

Better support for unified memory sounds interesting. It was always silly doing OpenGL ES on Android and having to deal with so much work copying the right texture atlas into graphics memory which was really just a different part of the mai

SouthWest has never complained when I've asked to deplane early. They just seem to mark it down on a clip board and then are fine with it.

Hmm, can't say I agree. The Peripheral that came out recently was quite good, as good as Neuromancer in my opinion. Felt very real and visceral except for the time travel nonsense which I guess has to be accepted to make a story of it.

Agreed. At least XBMC had "media" in there. If they are going to use such meaningless names, they should just always stick "media software" after the name in all posts or something.
