I'd love to spend money on games. Most games seem to be optimized for younger audience (==dumbed down) or monetized in really dumb ways. So no buy.

Example? Templates (template metaprogramming) help to avoid exceptions. You can check invariants first and jump into efficient code.

It is not as clear cut and may be different with first-world economies and developing ones. In developing ones cities are typically wealthiest more -> CO2 emissions due to higher standard of living. In first-world cities are more efficie

For 10k passwords and 100ms per hash it is 90 hours of single threaded execution time. There is no excuse not to do it, especially you need to do it only once per user (until password change).

If you're that strict then this survey is also useless as you cannot prove anything about general population of Python developers.

I don't think it would help much in EU. :) Would GDPR allow to withdraw consent for the intermediary? What if I disallow intermediary to handle my data but some other third party I gave permission to process data uses this intermediary

Can you explain how servers and bandwidth that handle ads on ad network side would be unaffected by serving bigger loads? If we are talking about society energy usage it would be ideal to ban ads/adtech entirely.

Fine as long you'll be able to cover extra bandwidth cost - and it would be easier to distinguish this from valid parts of page and block it.

More training and experience is a problem as previous plane model behaved differently. Pilot trained this situation and plane did X and now does Y - you don't really see the problem? - now pilot has extra burden to quickly determine if
