Several years ago Twilio wasn't so bad. It always had pretty antiquated API practices and felt clunky but it worked. Nowadays, it's expensive and contains a ton of hoops to jump through for business and a2p verification. They char

I'll give it a try today-- some quick feedback, it worries me loading your landing page causes my CPU fan to kick up and CPU usage ramps up to 5%. I have no idea what you're doing on there but it worries me.

Thanks-- the main use case is sending account specific notifications to a user (if they prefer sms notifications). For example, an sms notification if an account balance is running low.

Nowadays it's common for developers to learn React before they even learn JavaScript, and that's not great but it's not the cause of the problem. It's the companies that pile on to a stack because it's "easy to

Yes... In my mind, there are three kinds of security bugs. 1. Caused by pure ignorance and completely avoidable (this bug). 2. Caused by subtle configurations, workflows, programming (mostly avoidable, secret scanning, security linters, cod

It's pretty shocking how many commenters are blaming the individual for not "trying harder" to find contact information. It's pretty clear a16z didn't want to pay anything or appreciate the disclosure at all. Findin

I have two monitors connected to the 3070 and it works well. The only issue I had was suspending, the GPU would "fall of the bus" and not get its power back when the PC woke up. I had to add the kernel line "pcie_aspm=off&quo

I've been dipping back into native/systems programming lately and it's honestly no better over there. I starting writing code in C again, because I really enjoy the simplicity. I wanted to use some nice-isms in C++ (function

These "hackers" are usually teens that figured out how to sim swap and/or bribed an employee. There's usually very little hacking involved. It's the ego driven nature of them that always brings them down.

Is the code available somewhere? I'd like to see the full code and run locally. It looks like the code sandbox isn't working anymore.

Seems like a good VSCode alternative, but I'll stick with my editor of choice. I imagine it will be 1~2 years before Zed is bought by Microsoft and either squashed like Atom or replaces VSCode.

Messy code that is specific to windows+macos, but with some tweaks it builds/runs on Linux. You need to add SDL2 includes in a few files.

Aesthetic. When you `ls` $HOME or open a Finder it's a lot nicer when things match (Documents, Videos, etc). It's weird to see that one random folder (src). I know typing a dot is annoying, hence the Bash alias.

I have two files I use. 1. todo.md 2. scratchpad.md I put my tasks for each project in the todo file separated by headings. I put random notes in the scratchpad file as they pop (ex, need to update x dependency in project y, etc). I then or

Am I the only one that sees so many third party dependencies and gets nervous? All it takes is one bad plugin or maintainer change for your entire system to be owned.
