I moved (from selfhost gitlab) to forgejo recently, and for my needs it's a lot better, with a lot less hassle. It also seems a lot more performant (again probably because I don't need a lot of the advanced features of gitlab).

I think this guy paints a difference in thought that is not really there. Putin sees Ukraine neutrality and impotence as vital to Russia's security. No, he probably does not want to actually annex Ukraine, that would be a ball ache he

In the early days of LLMs I tried it, but it was kinda terrible, and I also realised that the fun of these games, like reading a book, was the imagining of the action. Take that away and they are very simple puzzle games

I don't know, I still have issues with the default media player in Ubuntu not working for either video or sound. I'm sure it's solvable, but it's easier to just install VLC, so that's what I do.

Yeah, it's quite easy to do from a normal laptop. The instructions are very clear and straightforward. Have played around with it a few times.

This is actually a good thing. Competitive Windows is a thing and these people are ruining it for the rest of us.

yeah, the UK high street was definitely ripe for the taking. And Amazon with its cheap prices, no-nonsense customer service and return policy was miles better. The point is that it's no longer really the case.

My take is that it's because there is still competition in Sweden to keep them on their toes. Once they have decimated the Swedish high street, like they have in the UK, they will start cutting costs.

I don't think the post you replied to says otherwise, but Unity meant there was now a path with professional grade tools without spending a fortune. It definitely did create a new wave of indie games, some of them amazing.

I think people want to see the mindless application of crappy LLM chatbots and AI summaries everywhere fail. At least that's my position. I would also like the notion that "development can be sped up 6-700% by applying AI" wo
