Perfect Pitch is 30% more likely in societies with tonal language. Kids who are exposed to complicated music at an early age also have a higher chance of having perfect pitch. Here's the best video[0] on Perfect Pitch I've seen. I

Interesting. The virtual click of an apple touchpad would provide some tactical feedback to recognize "clicking" on individual keys on a flat surface. The next problem to solve is how to simulate the tactile separation between key

YouTube loses billions of dollars a year. If they weren't being subsidized by Google search profits, they would be out of business.

Dasung is on their second version of the display. If you look up youtube reviews of the second version, I think you'll be disappointed with what you find. The refresh rate continues to be a major hurdle.

When was the last time you knew of somebody who took the student loan interest deduction? I'm still paying off my graduate degree loans and never once have my interest payments been larger than the standard deduction.

They made them as recently as 2011. Unibody aluminum. Matte or glossy screen. 1920x1200. IPS. 2.5ghz quad core i7. Ram's a little slow at PC3-1333. Those don't have replaceable batteries, but you can replace them yourself fairly

It doesn't sound like that will be possible. DOM interop is baked into the Garbage Collection task[0]. It sounds like there's a dependency there, somewhere. [0]: https://github.com/WebAssembly/design/issu

Not successfully. By far the biggest advantage of RSS is its so easy to publish content to a feed. The more difficult we make that, the more we shoot ourselves in the foot.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention! spaRSS is a decent contender. It's pretty, fast and it looks like it does what it should. One small wrinkle: it doesn't seem capable of importing opml files on newer android devices. A bug

I'd build it somewhere in between what it is now and Usenet. One of the biggest benefits of RSS is how easy it is to publish content. Two of the biggest downsides is the lack of interactivity and the lack of discoverability. What if al

Does anybody here know of a good native RSS program for Windows, Linux and/or Android? All of the ones I've tried are buggy or ugly or just unfriendly to use. My Reeder envy has gotten so bad, I've been running Reeder in a VM

Hell, just finding the RSS feed on some sites is like going on a scavenger hunt. I really wish the html spec itself had a standardized way of defining the rss file for a site, like they do for favicon.

Google Trends don't necessarily equate to usage. I keep hearing rss feeds are dead, yet nearly every site on the internet has an rss feed, save for Twitter and Facebook (for obvious reasons).
