I think that was probably me with the stickers. Skud and I had vaguely similar hair for a while. I am the one with the wheelchair so while people have confused us, actually it's quite easy to tell us apart!

What's being described is not slash and burn agriculture in the way it's practiced now, or "deforestation", but a regular seasonal burn-off of prairie or savanna. It prevented trees from taking hold in very wide areas. The book 1491 has goo

I think we'll end up with some planned and edited screencasts, and some "live coding" streams that are great (with 95% of the live streams being dull.) So there would probably need to be some kind of reputation system or way to look for co

I think part of this comes with age. We realize we don't have a lot of time left, we've accumulated a lot of cruft in our information input habits as well as in what we produce, and there's a strong impulse to focus. Writers and philosopher

Looking at 14 year olds isn't going to help the 30 year olds who did stick with STEM and are here right now. It's great to help girls, but I have to wonder that that is so often the answer when grown women point out there are problems.
