I work in an investment bank and I'm not sure how much power the banker has in the deal process. A lot of it is dependent on the buyer, less on the banker. Bankers get paid based on the size of the deal. We usually take 2-3% of the transact

I was going to say the same thing. It's very much the same. Making 120k sounds like a lot, but when people realize how much we're giving up, you can see that its not worth the money. But people (like me) do it anyway to get great experience

Hey there, I started CodeAcademy recently as well. Did you only use that to learn JavaScript? Or were there other resources as well? I was just hoping for more of a detailed explanation of how you went from nothing to an android app.

I think it isn't considered a success for many reasons. First, there was no excitement generated by the stock. What I mean by this is, no one was willing to pony up and pay a premium to their offering price. This has to do less with the aca

Well, I do know some programming (did some C++ and JavaScript competitions in high school), so I don't think it would be too hard to pick up again. But getting to the point where I can contribute code to a team of people who majored in prog

This is a really good idea. I've been looking into visual basic macros for excel. Unfortunately, VB isn't exactly 'hip' or in favor anymore to anyone in the tech field. But I guess it's as start.

I definitely agree with you on the "huge difference between low-quality video/audio recording of a prof mumbling for an hour and post-processed, perfected snippets of videos presented in a coherent fashion, and most importantly with supplem
