Yep - IIRC, in-app purchases only apply if the purchase itself is delivered through the app (usually content) This is how apps like Uber, Lyft, InstantCab, Instacart, etc. let you pay through your phone, and why Netflix and Hulu don't

Any suggestions or feedback appreciated! This was my first major foray into doing the design and CSS work, so things may be a little rough there.

Thanks for the feedback! You're absolutely right about the family role dropdown. We put it there as a temporary fix while we built a more comprehensive "family tree" feature, and we'll be replacing it shortly so you can more accurately repr

Congrats to Fluent! Great design and a slick UI. The stream view is an interesting concept, but we've found that many people don't have a nice inbox of messages as shown in the preview. In fact, it's quite the opposite: messages from friend

"AP level physics course in electricity and magnetism" is referring to AP Physics C. Generally corresponds to the second semester of freshman physics: it covers electricity and magnetism fairly in depth but you won't see any circuit design,

My recommendation is "Concrete Mathematics", by Graham, Knuth, and Patashnik. ( http://www.amazon.com/Concrete-Mathematics-Foundation-Comput... ) It is excellently written, but by no means a light read. If you put in the time and effort, yo

Sorry if that was unclear. The original comment stated that using per capita in this manner would be "inaccurate", but you can't compare Manhattan and Brooklyn simply by comparing the total number. What I was trying to explain in response w

100 doesn't represent a physical number. It's just an indication of the relative frequencies. If, for example, Manhattan had typically two fixies for sale per person (this is completely made up), then Brooklyn would have 1.25. Yes, per capi

It might be easier to take 229 (Machine Learning) after 221 (this class), since 221 is intended to be a lead-in. and less mathematically rigorous. It's still definitely worth a look but may be hard to understand without a background in algo
